2012 in Review

Happy New Year Everyone! As we start off today in a new year I decided to go back and recap what happened in 2012. It was one of the best years, but also one of the hardest years, as I lost my best friend Rahul. Losing him has been one of the hardest things deal with, but it has also reminded me not to take life for granted. Be spontaneous, travel, spend time with friends and family, slow down and appreciate the little things, help people in need, be patient, relax and do things that you love to do.

2012 was full of big highlights in my life, like graduating, starting up this blog, and travelling. In the last couple of years I have given myself a goal of exploring different parts of the world. To be specific I try and travel to at least 3 different places a year. This year I did even better than that and visited 4 countries: Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and Chile. It was amazing to see and experience so many different types of food, culture and meet so many wonderful people who opened their homes to me.

Now that we have survived 2012, I am excited to see what kind of crazy adventure 2013 will bring.
