San Cristóbal Hill in Santiago Chile
I didn't get to spend a lot of time in Santiago, Chile but the one day that I did get to see the city was amazing. One of the spots that I went to was San Cristóbal Hill, which is the second highest point in Santiago. The day that we went up started out cloudy, but by the time we got up to the top, the skies cleared up, and we got some beautiful views of the city. Since this is a tourist spot, I expected it to be loud, but experienced quite the opposite. At the top where the Virgin Mary statue stood, I saw people absorbing in the views, and reflecting on their own thoughts. It was a great way to end my day in Santiago, overlooking the city in such a peaceful place.
