Chocolate Cake

Chocolate cake is one of my favourite desserts, specifically black forest cake. While I love black forest cake I notice that I never eat the cherry filling. So I decided to make my own version of this classic cake and leave out the the tangy cherries. To make the chocolate cake (aka the best chocolate cake) I used this recipe. After the cake was completed, I iced it with whipped cream, and sprinkled the top with hershey kisses chocolate shavings. This was my first experience of baking a cake from scratch, and since it turned out so well I know it won't be my last handmade chocolate cake.
